Sorry for the late notification, you know how spring gets. This month we are going to do CHANNEL SET BANGLE BRASELET.
What you will need is a can that is just slightly larger than your hand when your hand is inward. By inward I mean, keeping all of your fingers straight while trying to fold the outside edges of your hand for each other like when putting your hand into a bangle bracelet. For the average size hand a soda can works. Those with larger hands might want to try to compare a tuna can to their hand.
Clay wise you will need solid color for the channel. I prefer black or one of the golds but that is totally up to you. Also bring any canes that you want to use up or trade. We will work on creating a pattern with our canes to fit the channel. Translucent liquid clay will also be needed for backfilling.
As usual if bangles aren't your thing, feel free to join us and work on what ever you would like.
Hope you can join us !
