Rocky Mountain Polymer Clay Guild meets the 3rd Saturday of each month at 10:30 AM at 4106 South College Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado.
October 19, 2017 - Paper Napkin Transfer Bookmarks
Cynthia will lead us in this month's meeting. In our last meeting she mentioned that she liked using Premo Soufflé clay for this technique. While we will be making book marks, you can also use this method for journal covers and jewelry. If you are thinking about using it for earrings, make sure you choose a napkin with a small or intricate pattern.

Paper Napkin / Polymer Clay Bookmark Supply List:
-Paper Napkins with designs that would look good on a bookmark.
(bring extra napkins if you want to trade with others)
-Polymer Clay in white, ecru, or pearl white. (Very light pastels or white glitter clay will work too.)
-Small hole cutter for the ribbon to fit thru.
-Plastic container to soak the paper off the bookmark.
-1/8 inch ribbon that co-ordinates with the napkin colors. (I have some to share.)
-The usual supplies: xacto knife or blade, pasta machine, etc.
Optional Supplies for an overlay look:
-Colored pencils or markers that work on clay, to darken faded areas
-Crackle medium & paint.
-Stamps & ink or paints. (the stamps with words look good.)
